Pressure vacuum vent model 197 can be manufactured both with flame arrester or without it.
End-of-line flame arresters contain ribbon coil, an element made of stainless steel that prevents the propagation of the flame inside the tank.
Pressure vacuum vent is normally used in the vapour recovery system (Stage 1) and it is designed to regulate the pressure inside the storage tank and to protect it in case of overpressure.
During normal operation the valve is closed thus helping to reduce the evaporation, saving environment and product loss.
The In Line Flame Arrester Ridart is a Protection System with stainless Steel ribbon coil: deflagration in-line flame arrester in according with Directive 2014/34/EU and harmonized standard EN ISO 16852:2016.
During the filling of a tank, the free vent discharge vapours that may ignite due to atmospheric or accidental causes.
The tank shall be protected to prevent the propagation of flames into the container.
This is the purpose of our Flame Arrester for line deflagration .

The RIDART BALL FLOAT VALVE is normally used in the vapor recovery line (Stage 2). It is designed to protect the vapor recovery line from fuel overfilling hazard during loading operation.
There are different sizes and models also with FLAME ARRESTER. Flame arrester element is designed to isolate flames and protect a circumscribed area.

The ANGLE CHECK VALVE is a device in according with Directive 2014/34/EU and harmonized standard. This valve is designed to prevent the drainage of fuel (loss of prime) in the suction line and permits the product flowing only towards a dispenser.
The valve is installed on the manhole lid of the storage tank.
The CHECK VALVE is designed to prevent the back flow of fluid on the suction line and permits its flow only
in one direction.

EMERGENCY SHEAR VALVES
The single and double poppet emergency SHUT-OFF VALVE is installed in the fuel delivery line and is designed to protect from danger of product loss by closing the flow of fuel in case of accident, damage or fire. Double poppet shut-off valve allows the closure of both lines from the underground storage tank (inlet) and to dispenser (outlet).
The valve allows full flowing capacity with normal operation.

The ANTI-SIPHON VALVE is designed to prevent siphoning of liquid from an aboveground tank to the suction pipe installed at a lower level.
The valve does not permit the fuel to come out from the dispenser when it is not working.
